*** We use is with uncountable nouns.
NEGATIVE SENTENCES (AND QUESTIONS)
ANY + PLURAL NOUNS I haven't got any strawberries. There aren't any oranges.
ANY + UNCOUNTABLE NOUNS
There isn't any juice in the fridge.
There isn't any juice in the fridge.
*** We use isn't with uncountable nouns.
A / AN
*** We use AN with nouns that start with vowels.

* In the video, they talk about "a loaf of bread". In this case, "bread" is countable, but when we talk about "bread" in general, it's uncountable.
